Pneumatic separation units standard
SiGMA’s pneumatic separation units are characterised by their simple structure and their low weight. They are tailored towards the ASS/ASP collets and are made largely of aluminium. The standard version has three digital sensors for monitoring the prominent positions of the collet (release position, clamping position, clamped without tool). Additionally, the supply of purifying air for the tool interface is also integrated in the standard version. The operating pressure for the separation units is 6 bar. The supply connections are arranged radially.
In most cases, separation units are adapted to the requirements of the spindle and machine manufacturers. Here, a standardisation is barely possible. SiGMA develops and produces separation units on a customer-specific basis for nearly all applications. Here, customer wishes are catered to. Pneumatic and hydraulic units are possible that are implemented in a wide variety of ways with individual features such as monitoring, cooling lubricant infeed and supply of purifying air. Separation cylinders integrated into the spindle shaft supplied via docking units are also possible.
